What happens if you don’t register your TNT Sim?

Please be aware that failure to register your Sim within the given timeframe will result in automatic deactivation. To resume service, you will need to register your SIM once again within five days of deactivation.

Information needed to register a SIM card

To complete the process, the user must provide the following details: Their full name, date of birth, gender, address, and a government-issued ID with a photo. They must also declare that the ID information provided is accurate. For corporations, the necessary documents are an SEC Certificate of Registration, a Board Resolution that appoints the authorised person, and a Special Power of Attorney for other legal entities.

Accepted IDs for SIM Registration

To register SIMs, you must present one of the following official identification cards: 

National ID, Passport, Government Service Insurance System e-Card, Driver’s licence, Social Security Service ID, Police clearance, National Bureau of Investigation clearance, Professional Regulation Commission ID, Firearms License to Own and Possess ID, Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration ID, Bureau of Internal Revenue ID, Voter’s ID, Person with Disabilities card, Unified Multi-purpose Identification Card, Senior citizen’s card, or any other government-issued ID with photo.

Looking to register your TNT SIM card as a foreigner?

If you are a foreign tourist visiting the country, please note that your registered SIM will only remain valid for 30 days. After that, it will be automatically cancelled.

Requirements for TNT SIM Registration for Foreign Tourists

  • Please provide a copy of the bio-page of your passport along with the pages that display your current visa stamp or information.
  • Foreign nationals in the Philippines can prove their address by booking accommodation or obtaining an affidavit/letter from the owner of the residence they will be staying in.

  • Please provide a copy of your passport’s bio page and the pages that show the current visa stamp or status. Make sure that the document displays your full name, passport number, and nationality. 
  • To display proof of address in the Philippines, a foreign national can present a hotel booking or any other type of accommodation reservation. If these are not available, they can submit an affidavit or letter from the owner of the house or place where they will be staying.
  • Please provide any relevant documents that apply to the situation.
    • An ACRI-Card or any official ID issued by a visa-issuing agency can be used as proof of identification.
    • Foreign workers need an Employment Permit from the Philippines’ Department of Labor and Employment. Students should have their registration and ID ready to enrol in school. Being prepared with these documents can prevent future issues. 
    • POCs need a valid travel or admission document from the Philippine Department of Justice.
