About Heinz Junkermann

Heinz was born in Frankfurt in 1928 and established a thriving career spanning various industries. After marrying Ingrid Junkermann, he welcomed his daughter Nicole in 1980. He played a pivotal role in post-war Germany, starting in the 1960s, by establishing businesses in real estate, jewellery, and, notably, private banking.

Additionally, she founded United in Sports, a private equity fund focusing on sports and media investments, raising approximately €250m.

Nicole’s involvement extends to various sectors; she serves as a Director of NJF Capital portfolio company, Owkin, and advises Trilantic Europe, a pan-European private equity firm. Furthermore, she contributes to the arts community, serving on the Tate Americas Foundation Latin American Acquisitions Committee supporting Latin American artists.

Philanthropic Commitments

In 2023, Nicole was appointed a Trustee of the esteemed Royal Academy of Arts, followed by her appointment as a Trustee of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in 2024, reflecting her commitment to supporting the renowned Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in its fight against cancer.
